CHARLOTTE, NC – SightSpan, a global risk management consulting group, today announced that Alice Beyer has joined the company as Senior Risk Advisor. Beyer, who brings more than twenty years of risk management experience, will support SightSpan’s global clients with advanced compliance and security solutions to improve their risk management functions. She will report to John Walsh, President and CEO of SightSpan.
Beyer has led teams including fraud, anti-money laundering (AML), information security, compliance, and operations. In her long career, supporting partners and clients of all sizes, she worked with some of the first fintechs in the financial services industry. Her expertise includes leadership, leading and executing projects such as complex third-party verification, driving implementations for several hundred fintech partnerships, and improving business results by adding value.

Before SightSpan, Beyer served as Director of Compliance & Risk Management and Director of Banks and Networks & Card Fulfillment at EML Payments, a leading global payment solutions provider. In her latest role at EML, she led compliance and risk and regulatory-related efforts, including AML/BSA, CIP/KYC, OFAC, Reg E, UDAAP, Third Party Risk, NACHA, and Privacy. She also oversaw all risk remediation reviews and implementations for new compliance initiatives for third-party features and contributed to pipeline vetting.

Before EML, Beyer served as Vice President of Operations at Central Payments, a Division of Central Bank in Kansas City. In this role, she coordinated multiple enterprise projects simultaneously while prioritizing existing business needs in a triple-digit year-over-year growth environment. Beyer also served in senior leadership roles at MetaBank (now Pathward) for more than a decade, where she led Partner Services team members who specialized in program implementations, marketing reviews, and BIN management for payments programs and products. She began her career at Citibank, leading various private label and credit card customer service teams and working with the regional quality assurance team.
Beyer received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a focus in Project Management from Colorado Technical University, and is currently pursuing her MBA in Marketing & Innovation from University of Sioux Falls.
